The Dark Knight Strikes Again Atop the Fourth Wall Part 2

YMMV examples for Atop the Quaternary Wall. For History of Power Rangers examples, see here.

  • Adventitious Innuendo: "This comic sucks... Linkaraaaa!"
  • Adorkable:
    • Linkara'southward a bill of fare-carrying geek and intentionally gets well-nigh all of his weapons, strategies and costumes from various speculative fiction universes.
    • '90s Dude is ofttimes endearing with his obsession with The '90s. Although he of form doesn't call back of himself every bit a dork, he thinks he'due south Awesome!
  • Arc Fatigue:
    • The Lord Vyce arc, which took around 9 months from beginning to end, and went on continuously (the Mechakara and Entity arcs, while viii months long, both had extended "breather" periods, whereas the Vyce arc didn't). Still, it could exist divided into three sub-arcs — Linkara's abduction and return, the story of the Magic Gun's origin, and the actual confrontation with Vyce — for easier consumption. This was repeated with the Gunslinger arc, which also has three sub-arc divisions (Linkara losing his magic and Holokara taking over, the squad trapped in the apartment by the Gunslinger, and the final confrontation with the Gunslinger and Dr. Insano).
    • The Sleepwalker arc took just under two years to fully play out, which admittedly is similar to the Gunslinger arc, merely fifty-fifty Lewis admitted that part of this was due to filming difficulties; he did manage to have it wrapped up in fourth dimension to get another story arc — the Contest of Champions — in earlier his 10th ceremony.
    • Ironically for what was supposed to exist a Breather Episode, The Competition of Champions itself has likewise fallen under this. Due to real life scheduling issues and the fallout from #ChangeTheChannel, the arc has both gone months without whatsoever sort of update and was even put on agree for the tenth Anniversary storyline in October 2018. Many fans accept become burnt out on the storyline, which Linkara has indicated will not terminate until at least 2020. Lewis would later state that due to the ongoing quarantines and Social Distancing measures in Minnesota as a result of COVID-19, he is unable to film any alive scenes to continue the storyline. Thereby leaving the story in a hiatus until 2021.
  • Writer's Saving Throw: There seem to exist many of these. If enough people complain nigh a perceived plot hole or just that something wasn't addressed, it will most likely exist addressed in the next storyline-related episode.
    • Afterwards various comments pointed out that Linkara never saw the outside of Vyce's transport, yet instantly recognized it, the next episode has Pollo note this, and then Linkara asks who else would have a ship with a giant V on it.
    • In the commentary of "Pokemon: The Electric Tale of Pikachu", Lewis admits to having pulled i with why Missingno was agape of Lord Vyce, aware that didn't rails with how he built information technology up equally an unstoppable universe-devouring Lovecraftian demon. He came upward with the idea that Vyce's attacks were able to hurt it, only — according to Missingno, at least — couldn't impale information technology, but it found being able to exist hurt at all such a blow to the ego that information technology hid out in our dimension so Linkara would defeat Vyce. It was Not agape of Vyce; simply sufficiently annoyed with him.
    • The very terminate of the Real Ghostbusters in Ghostbusters Ii review features Jaeris, visiting Linkara via portal, returning the mobile emitter he'd stolen during the Gunslinger arc, thus tying up the loose end left from the Aborted Arc of him planning to employ information technology against his then-enemy.
    • During the Sleepwalker arc, Linkara'south friends come across as a little as well unsympathetic to Linkara starting to cross lines they're uncomfortable with, treating it as baseless paranoia when there is an bodily and obvious threat that's driving him to such extreme measures. This gets addressed when they encounter ninety's Child again and call him out on working with Vyce, pointing out that they left Linkara because of how far he was going, simply 90's Kid is hardly any ameliorate for what he's washed. On superlative of that, 90's Child himself reveals why he was working with Vyce and the existent reason for Linkara's behavior.
  • Annal Panic: 600 episodes and counting over twelve years.
  • Awesome Music:
    • The Atop the 4th Wall theme song.
    • "The Ballad of Linkara" song that is offset played at the end of his 200th episode, and reappears in a 10th Anniversary Cheers video.
    • The melancholy piano music that plays during the climax of Harvey's Christmas 2012 arc. Information technology's given a more than triumphant reprise when Harvey returns home and joins the gang for Christmas dinner.
    • The orchestral sci-fi theme that opens the episode instead of the regular Theme Tune whenever Linkara does a Star Trek comic.
    • The score that plays during the restoration of Comicron One in "Comic Volume Quickies #7".
  • Base-Breaking Graphic symbol:
    • Fatty Grandma. Some discover her so random it's hilarious, others think she's kinda racist (a white human being, playing a white woman, acting like a Sassy Black Woman) and just obnoxious.
    • The King of Worms. Some found him to be a suitably adept villain and that the Court of Worms storyline had some great tension and didn't overstay its welcome like some other storylines. Others establish him to exist stupid looking, and ultimately experience that he'south proof that the evidence couldn't escalate past the Entity, a sentiment reinforced when the Entity returns and is revealed to take been responsible for the King'southward demise.
  • Large-Lipped Alligator Moment: The conclusion of Amazons Assail! involves Linkara becoming sucked into a portal, becoming animated, then teaming upwardly with Wonder Woman to fight a giant version of the comic itself. It has a 'To Be Continued' on the terminate, so information technology was either intended to go somewhere but was left hanging, or was intended to be a Accept That! at how Amazons Attack essentially went nowhere.
  • Broken Base:
    • Some fans notice the storyline segments to be fun and enjoyable, while others feel they're amateurish sci-fi pastiches that distract from the main point of the show, reviewing bad comics.
    • The big "The Reason You lot Suck" Speech towards Spider-Man in his 200th episode reviewing Ane More than Day, near the character still acting like a teenager, not taking responsibility despite constantly going on near it and never actually learning from his mistakes has caused some divisions with his viewers. Some viewers completely agreed with Linkara and the speech as a testament to how Curiosity has ruined their once proud mascot. Others disagreed completely, believing Linkara was being likewise harsh towards a character that has been gone through years of terrible writers. Lewis does admit that office of the rant was but his own jaded perspective, and as well goes on to declare that what he really took effect with was that the writers seem to downright refuse to let Peter grow up and behave like an adult already.
    • The rhyming review of a Star Expedition result caused a minor controversy, with some liking it and others finding it abrasive.
    • Drunk Tony Stark. Some find him slurring Fe Man'southward oral communication to be funny. Some find information technology offensive. And some just detect it patently annoying. It doesn't help that every time Linkara uses it, he needs to accept time out of the review to address the controversy and explicate why he's decided to keep doing information technology. Nevertheless, he does proceed record claiming that if the comic is in the main continuity and ready after the story "Demon In A Bottle" (in which Tony confronts his alcoholism), he will not do the Drunk Voice — which he makes practiced on with his overview of the problems with Ceremonious War, every bit he doesn't use information technology for Tony there.
    • His take thats towards Brad Jones and RedLetterMedia in 2022 episodes. Well-deserved digs at the correct targets, or petty, unprofessional and immature?
  • Tin't Un-Hear It: Linkara's mockingly Wangsty voice for Superboy-Prime works very well. Nonetheless, due to its nature as a parody, Lovhaug himself stated he wasn't sure how he felt virtually this condition when informed almost it during a livestream of him playing Hitman (2016).
  • Captain Obvious Reveal: Parodied and defied in his "fifteen Worst Comics I've E'er Reviewed" video.
  • Consummate Monster:
    • Mechakara is a robot from an Alternate Universe where Linkara's Robot Buddy Pollo turned evil and killed him when the machines overthrew humanity. His first plan revolves around sending Linkara into a mental breakdown; when that fails, he captures him and plans to impale him slowly, just because his death went too fast the first time around. While that would normally make him simply another killer robot, he stands out when, after getting the magic MacGuffin that he came for, he vows to destroy all organic life in the multiverse. During the Silent Hill Expressionless/Alive videos, Mechakara slowly mind rapes Linkara into thinking he'due south the (actually long dead) homo who tortured his girl to create Linkara's Magic Gun and almost convinces him to kill himself. In To Boldly Flee, Mechakara passes himself off every bit Linkara and infiltrates the USS Exit Strategy, intending to kill the unabridged coiffure with the aid of the forcibly alloyed Todd and Nostalgia Chick. Subsequently, Mechakara assimilates the coiffure of the Caelestis space station and drains the life force of one astronaut in an attempt to recharge the ship. Only working with others when his goals coincide with theirs and perfectly willing to kill them otherwise, Mechakara is fueled only by his hatred for Linkara and all organic life forms.
    • "A Story of Magic": Margaret's parents were members of a cult that worshipped the Entity and sought to rid the globe of any non-believers. Working with their sect to forge a weapon capable of smiting their enemies, the two had Margaret in the showtime place and so her very life essence could be used to power the Magic Gun. When Margaret turned 13, her parents assisted in a ritual that saw their daughter tortured and tormented, laughing at her sobs of pain. When Margaret's blood and soul were drained into the Magic Gun, her parents immediately wielded it in the hopes of using information technology to kill in their god's name. The two showed no remorse when confronted by Margaret'due south vengeful spirit, believing their actions were fully justified even as they succumbed to madness and death.
  • Continuity Lockout: Having run for over ten years, newcomers to the show might be at a loss regarding certain elements of the story-line segments. Characters and past events are constantly called-dorsum too, even if they haven't been mentioned in the testify for several years. Certain story-arcs fifty-fifty incorporate plot points from other review shows and the Channel Awesome ceremony movies. This tin can hands cause confusion for viewers who weren't around while Lewis was still a part of the site.
  • Engaging Chevrons: When Iron Liz reviewed Concatenation Gang War, she got her own version of the theme tune, merely for Linkara's regular theme tune to play immediately later on information technology.
  • Ensemble Dark Horse:
    • As of the New Guardians #1 review, the spotlight has been taken from Linkara past the crazy antics of Snowflame. Read the comments to see why.
    • In the DVD episodes, Linkara finds his own Darkhorse, Tomboy, in the pages of Captain Flash. She's a powerless preteen girl whose badassery completely outshines the titular hero.
    • Mechakara is likewise a pretty popular character. Mostly for existence a Knight of Cerebus, how he was near able to kill Linkara in their battle, and that he'southward an evil Pollo from an alternate universe. He'due south so popular that he was resurrected during the Vyce Arc and makes a cameo in a couple other reviews. He even lampshades his own popularity in the Sultry Teenage Super-Foxes #two review. He'due south ane of the major villains in the Channel Crawly quaternary year anniversary crossover To Boldly Abscond and is as well the Large Bad of The Movie.
    • Jaeris, the Gunslinger, is very popular over at the Treehouse, the fan community/Kink Meme at Livejournal.
    • The Contest of Champions arc introduces Pilo, a literal pile of rocks who somehow made into the semi-finals in a previous contest and, as of the Space Crisis review, has already won its first friction match. Needless to say, Pilo has already go beloved by the fans.
  • Evil Is Cool: Lord Vyce qualifies for doing Darth Vader Clone right, being a Knight Templar with a truly menacing voice, an absolute refusal to give upward, and a surprisingly sympathetic backstory that flavors his legacy of conquest. Mechakara counts, too, beingness the prove's first villain to be taken seriously and an absolutely terrifying Killer Robot and Omnicidal Maniac who makes Vyce await like the picture of rationality.
  • Evil Is Sexy: Mechakara has quite a substantial corporeality of female person fans. One of the cards illustrated past the championship card artist, Dr. Crafty, lampshades this by showing a bunch of fangirls hugging an unamused Mechakara.
  • Fan Nickname:
    • Each of the Mirror Universe characters have one.
      • Captain Linkara: "Mirrorkara"
      • Md Insano: "Mirrorsano"
      • Liz: "Mirror Liz"
      • Pollo: "Tom Pollo"
    • Fans accept accordingly dubbed Linkara using the Zeonizer as "Pimpkara" due to his flashy white suit and hat.
    • The fans have dubbed the spirit inside the magic gun Meg (based on the initials MG for "Magic Gun"). This appears to be Ascended Fanon at present, as in the Catwoman: Guardian of Gotham #1 review, Wizard Steven refers to her as "Margaret".
  • Fan-Preferred Couple: Linkara and Viga are the ones people now ship together the about, likely due to both the real-life relationship between their actors and the fact they are just downright adorkable when in each other'southward company.
  • Fandom Rivalry: An odd rivalry popped up between AT4W fans and fans of Oney Plays, more often than not related to a joke fabricated about Linkara'due south old webcomic Lightbringer (something he considers an Quondam Shame), which Linkara wasn't really amused by. Oney'southward fans come across Linkara equally someone who can't take a joke made nigh him very well, while Linkara's fans say the trouble is the fact the joke has either been run into the basis or is simply getting used to try and harass him past bringing up something he regrets.
  • Gateway Series: Although Linkara did not expect non-comic books fans to find the evidence funny, one of the most often asked questions is "how do I get into comics?" from people who became interested in comic books after watching the show. This also influenced his determination to stage out the Continuity Alarm. Originally he had it so that he wouldn't ramble about continuity to seasoned comic readers, but plant that more people actually wanted him to get into the history of the things he was talking about.
    • His frequent cameos with other Channel Awesome reviewers are probable to become you to pick up their shows on your regular viewing schedule.
  • Ham and Cheese:
    • His Snowflame impression.
    • Only to be outdone by Will Wolfgram's Snowflame in the "New Guardians #1" review and subsequent appearances.

Snowflame (Will): Snowflame is stealing your shoooooooes!

  • Harsher in Retrospect: The prove has its own page.
  • Heartwarming in Hindsight:
    • Harvey calling Linkara kid, signifying that he thinks of him as a surrogate son.
    • His demands to bring back Lian Harper in DC'south rebooted universe are this now that Convergence did simply that.
    • While the Cassandra Cainstropective was already one long tribute to the unappreciated character, information technology becomes even more heartwarming following the release of Birds of Prey (2020); while that motion picture contradistinct Cassandra to the betoken of accusations of her beingness the graphic symbol In Proper name Merely, the Cainstropective is now an even better product that Cassandra's fans can utilise to prove others what the grapheme is actually like compared to the motion-picture show version.
  • He Panned It, At present He Sucks!:
    • Later on his reviews of All-Star Batman & Robin, the Male child Wonder and The Dark Knight Strikes Again, Linkara suffered a bit of backlash from Frank Miller fans who said that Miller's contributions to the comic industry (namely, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Batman: Yr One, and revolutionizing Daredevil) gave him a free laissez passer to do wackier stuff. Linkara heartily disagreed. He got the final laugh after Holy Terror came out and Frank Miller supporters stopped really being a thing.
      • Linkara besides noted that no one cared when he mocked Stan Lee, despite Lee having a larger impact on the comic book industry than Miller.
    • He seems to have taken steps to avert this with his Spawn review, noting at the showtime that he didn't want to bash Spawn every bit a grapheme, and that Spawn was ameliorate than nigh early Image comic characters by far.
    • He managed to avoid this in his Homo of Steel v-log, admitting accidentally (seeing the movie over a month after it was released due to existence busy).
    • In panels, he's mentioned this is the reason he doesn't exercise reviews of work by Garth Ennis and Mark Millar, despite not liking their work. He eventually reviewed Millar's For The Animals (noting it'south a very good comic that actually gets Superman equally an inspiring icon) and Trouble (Marvel Comics) (which, although he did pan, no one complained, probable because Millar himself considers said book to be an Old Shame).
    • He drew some criticisms when he admitted during his review of the comic adaptation of Rogue 1: A Star Wars Story of antisocial the iconic hallway scene where Darth Vader slaughters the rebel soldiers. Though for some, not and then much the criticism and then the atomic number 82 up (Basiclly his mocking Bait-and-switch), his tone sounding more like he was experiencing Hype Backfire, and his rather confusing reasons why he didn't (Essentially he likes the more methodical Vader from the OG serial and felt the scene was also bombastic for his grapheme despite Vader barely being in the movie). Some commenters against him saying he came off as a curmudgeon old man doing the "Back in my day..." bluster when trying to illustrate how Vader should be scary.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: The testify has its ain page.
  • Ho Yay: Jaeris proposed to Linkara in at least 1 alternate universe.
    • In the Jojos Bizarre Adventure review, Linkara criticizes Jonathan's frankly ridiculous outfit choices, and is quite happy when it's destroyed. Without context, information technology sounds quite a chip similar Eating the Eye Processed.

Jojo: His hair is tearing through my dress!

    • This line, from his top 15 favorite jokes:

Linkara: And really, don't we all only love boners?

  • Iconic Graphic symbol, Forgotten Championship: Does this in his opening credits. Atop the Fourth Wall gets proper name-dropped once (twice in the total version), just the song ends on repetition of his name. The opening also used to end on a separate 'Linkara' logo but more recent episodes end on the Atop the Quaternary Wall logo.
  • It'due south the Same, At present Information technology Sucks!: The reason he discontinued his "That's All I'yard Saying" videos, where he looked at new comics on a weekly footing and gave brusk honest opinions on them. He felt they became repetitive and had him maxim the same affair over and over.
  • Jerkass Woobie: The Entity, post-resurrection. It is however a highly elitist Eldritch Abomination... having an existential crunch. It departs somberly, musing on whereas the parts of it that committed suicide beforehand found peace.
  • Memetic Badass:
    • From his Let's Play of Pokémon Omicron, Li'l Petti!
    • Also, Captain America [*cue America, Fuck Yes*]
  • Memetic Mutation:
  • Moral Effect Horizon:
    • Mechakara firmly crossed information technology when he tried to drive Linkara to suicide (and it was not Played for Laughs) past making him think he was the father of the girl who was turned into his magic gun.
    • Holokara pulls an extreme Face–Heel Turn and dives over the horizon in a single move, when he threatens to impale '90s Kid if he always interrupts the show once again . Definitely non Played for Laughs. To top information technology off, he subsequently threatens to maim Harvey Finevoice when Harvey calls him out for threatening to impale '90s Kid. Specifically, he casually threatens to crush the singer's song chords.
    • Lord Vyce crosses it either when he Mind Rapes NIMUE, forcing Linkara to close her downward (at which betoken we can pretty much drop the "Anti" part of Anti-Villain) or when he tries to destroy the Earth and even the universe with a singularity generator because he can't take that the Entity is truly gone, despite having but watched Linkara defeat it for proficient .

NIMUE: You are evil , Lord Vyce, despite your proclamations to the opposite.

  • Never Live It Downward:
    • One time, in his PO Unboxing Videos, Linkara and Viga went three hours of unboxing, before Linkara realized that he forgot to turn on the sound recording. He had to check if the sound was on, several times, in the side by side PO Unboxing.
    • Linkara himself will never let Superman forget his oral communication about letting "over in that location" take care of itself. Or let Darkseid forget how he once saturday on a couch. Or let the Monitors forget their stupid bureaucracy, or Batman his hatred of rock and whorl, or Spider-Man his bargain with Mephisto, etc.
    • Less mean-spirited than the in a higher place, simply Ray Palmer is always "Our Great Disaster-stopping pal, Ray Palmer".
  • Nightmare Retardant:
    • Okay, once the Entity was finally out in the open up, it had a lot of actually creepy lines with a bang-up voice filter effect, and the way information technology kept glitching out and teleporting effectually the room was genuinely creative and freaky. But it's in the form of '90s Child. Linkara already has such an adorable baby face and '90s Kid has such dumb fashion sense it dulled the edge of the horror a chip. But for others, all that made it even worse...
    • After all the buildup over the face up of the King of Worms, information technology's a platinum mask with eye and mouth holes. He's also played by Suede doing a bad impression of Bane. Moral: never build anything up as "more frightening than anything" or the similar.
      • So he touches Linkara's head and dies. Ironically, for a villain built up every bit fear incarnate, the King of Worms is probably the to the lowest degree scary thing in the series once he actually shows up.
  • Paranoia Fuel:
    • The Entity. A beast that can make people disappear from the globe with ease and absorbs them into itself, watches Linkara just to laugh at him equally his friends disappear and turns out to take been hiding in manifestly sight past his side the entire fourth dimension.
    • The Stinger for the The Thing from Another Globe #1 review has Linkara, Harvey Finevoice, 90'southward Child, and Linksano trapped in Linkara's home, with no access to NIMUE or Comicron-ane, and - oh yes - at that place'south an unknown intruder in the house.
    • The arc involving the King of Worms shows information technology using the cybermats to attack and supercede nigh all of Linkara'southward friends with robotic doubles.
  • Shocking Moments:
    • Holokara threatening to kill '90s Kid. Information technology starts off with but him telling '90s Child to stop interrupting the show, but then suddenly turns to Holokara phasing his paw into '90s Kid's chest and threatening to terminate his heart.
    • During the Star Trek/Greenish Lantern: Spectrum war story segment There's a brief moment of relief from Nimue and Pollo trying to clinch Linkara that the Entity is dead. So the engines start going haywire, Comicron-1 crashes on the moon, and Linkara and the gang have to escape in the Vigilant. The episode concludes with Linkara being certain that the Entity is even so alive, and the all too familiar musical cue ends things with a final shot of the wrecked Comicron-1.
  • So Bad, It'southward Good: Some people savor the Vyce arc solely because of what a hilarious Sue it makes Linkara, and besides to see how ballsy he can make information technology. Given some of the reviewed material, this may be deliberate.
  • Special Effect Failure:
    • The poorly-animated Vohrsoth. Lampshaded in-universe.
    • The above, also as many other special effects blunders, is lampshaded by Linkara's future self in the prove's Apr 2011 recap, with him often noting that "they should ready that".
    • The Gunslinger notices that his gunshots produce sparks and explosions, withal practise no damage to anything in Linkara'due south apartment. This becomes a plot signal in the side by side episode.
    • The CGI shortcoming involving Pollo and the Cybermat during the Star Trek 2 comic review was sort of an inevitability.
    • While within the Court of Worms, 1 can clearly run into Lewis' flat reflected in the mask of the Male monarch of Worms. It besides looked similar Lewis was wearing the Harvey costume and filming with a tablet reckoner.
    • The effects in the movie don't look all that hot either.
      • Vyce'due south ship looks really fake and compared to the bear witness. which is non helped by the poor lighting and textures used during these sequences or the affluence of dramatic flyby shots that intensify these issues.
      • The sets besides exit a lot to be desired. For instance, the bar at the beginning has a bookshelf off to the side; the bridge of Vyce's ship looks desolate and made of cardboard; and the space station'due south control room is clearly someone's basement (which is lampshaded since it'south a Telephone call-Back to To Boldly Abscond).
      • The chroma-keying fares no better. This is obvious during all the scenes in the engine room, which look like they came out of something from the mid-90s with very obvious artifacts around the characters.
      • The effects used for Mechakara'southward torn up face and later, his endo-skeleton, look worse than the CGI on display. The latter just existence a classroom skeleton model painted silver, with tin cans for shoulders. It's really disappointing compared to the makeup in To Boldly Flee.
      • None of these are helped by the moving picture being shot in 720p just like the series every bit opposed to 1080p or higher.
  • Strawman Has a Point:
    • Linkara's getting angry with 90's Kid over draining the BFG is treated as unwarranted, only information technology is understandable considering 90'south Kid ruined one of the few weapons they had that was still capable of functioning for an idiotic reason.
    • Holokara threatening to impale xc'south Kid was a severe overreaction, simply he did raise the point that xc'south Kid is e'er interrupting reviews, and what'due south more, Holokara did ask him to stop before resorting to threats.
    • During the Sleepwalker arc, Linkara'due south friends choose to walk out on him for starting to cross lines that they don't concur with, such as putting them under surveillance without telling them and trying to hack into government satellites instead of waiting for help from Alan. While they take valid concerns about him Jumping Off the Glace Slope, they ignore that Linkara has very good reason for acting like this every bit 90s Kid is working with Vyce and the very real possibility of the Entity'south render is looming over their heads. Linkara's friends come off equally very unsympathetic toward his efforts to prepare for future threats, especially in light of how often they get caught off guard. Granted, this is undermined by the fact that he was watching them without their knowledge or consent due to ninety's Kid's apparent expose and that the final time something like this happened, Linkara was becoming evil. It's farther undermined once it's revealed that the Entity is possessing Linkara.
  • Uncanny Valley: The Entity is merely unsettling to look at. Never mind that it'south taking the form of comic relief '90s Kid with a distorted voice and unnatural, interference cascade eyes, merely every shot focusing on it just glitches from time to fourth dimension, like its voice scratching and repeating, or its body blinking in place or from one place to another. But its presence is outright creepy, let alone all the remainder.
  • Viewer Gender Defoliation: Iron Liz, in her debut appearance, was wearing Linkara's jacket and hat and very little makeup, and was belongings a comic book in forepart of her chest. Those fashion and blocking choices — coupled with an unusually deep voice due to being a trans woman — had a lot of people confused. The name "Iron Liz" helped settle things, as did the introduction of her blog, where there is a much more flattering photograph of her on display.
  • Visual Effects of Awesome:
    • Linkara walking effectually 90s Child/The Entity is seamless.
    • The Game Show Reviewer now does CGI for the show, and his work is amazing for web animation. Of detail annotation is Comicron 1 crashing on the moon.
      • Past the same token, Comicron i being rebuilt is mesmerizing .
  • The Woobie:
    • The little girl from the Silent Hill Expressionless/Live prologues. The parents who she loved and adored never cared about her other than using her equally a sacrifice to forge a weapon to apply in mass genocide for their God. She was tortured and killed to create the weapon (Linkara's magic gun), only when they touched the weapon they were driven insane and killed.
      • The fact that her proper noun has been forgotten, even by the cultists who killed her makes information technology just a bit more painful.
    • After Holokara threatened them, '90s Kid and Harvey became Woobies as well.
      • And then Harvey becomes perhaps the biggest one on the show when we larn near his Dark and Troubled By.
      • The Gunslinger is also a massive example of Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds; despite being the main villain of his arc (initially), when his backstory is revealed, it'south hard non to experience bad for him.
      • Somehow, the Entity becomes this at the end of its life, overcome by the painful realization that even its existence is meaningless, and the revelation that the unabridged Sleepwalker arc was it trying to justify its existence. When the Entity fizzles out, it's depicted equally a sad moment.
    • Todd in the Shadows in the 500th episode. All he wants to do is gloat Linkara's achievement, but his methods are outdated, having been done in previous milestone reviews.
